Increasing Quality of Life

Join us for the training Increasing Quality of Life. During this free, interactive, training, professionals will learn ways to assess and increase quality of life measures for individuals they serve by incorporating 8 Dimensions of Wellness, adapted from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration). We will find internal motivators based on interests, assess your own quality of life, and brainstorm interventions to increase quality of life and improve mental health.

After attending you will be able to:

  • Define the quantitative versus qualitative measures to assess quality of life
  • Examine different aspects that contribute to someone’s overall quality of life
  • Give examples of quality of life interventions based on a case study

3 Social Work CEUs are available for this training.
